root9B Awarded North Carolina Statewide Security Assessment Services Contract

The award will be for a one-year period with two (2) one (1) year options to renew.

The scope of the contract covers the State's needs for security assessments. This is a Mandatory Statewide Term Contract for the use of Executive Branch Agencies and a Convenience Contract for the use of non-State Agencies to include: the North Carolina University System and its member campuses, Instructional components of the Department of Public Instruction, Instructional components of the Department of Community Colleges, as well as Local (Municipal and County) Governments.

Under the contract, root9B may provide Agencies with a range of cybersecurity assessment services to include:

• Security Program Assessment Reviews;
• Network Architecture Assessments;
• External Penetration Tests;
• Internal Vulnerability Assessments; and
• Wireless Network Security Assessments.
