PHILADELPHIA, Dec. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC®) of the Philadelphia Region, Inc. today announced that more than $273,000 in grants has been awarded to local non-profit organizations throughout 2011. These grants provided support to programs aimed at improving the health and well-being of children throughout the Greater Philadelphia Region.
"As the holiday season approaches, Ronald McDonald House Charities is honored to be able to keep the spirit of giving alive throughout the year," said Mike Anton, president of RMHC of the Philadelphia Region, Inc. and McDonald's Owner/Operator. - Clarke Schools for Hearing and Speech; Bryn Mawr, Pa.
- Concerned Citizens of Whitesboro, Inc.; Cape May Court House, N.J.
- Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation; Philadelphia
- Elm Street Hatboro, Inc.; Hatboro, Pa.
- Melmark; Berwyn, Pa.
- South Jersey Field of Dreams; West Atlantic City, N.J.
