Ron Simon & Associates Retained by 85 Victims in Pasha Mediterranean Grill Salmonella Outbreak
SAN ANTONIO, Sept. 26, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The national food safety law firm of Ron Simon & Associates, which filed the first two lawsuits in the Pasha Mediterranean Grill Salmonella Outbreak, now represents 85 of the victims, most residents of San Antonio, Texas, where Pasha Mediterranean Grill is located.
The outbreak has now grown into one of the largest Salmonella outbreaks in Texas history, with nearly 400 victims according to Metro Health and as reported in numerous local news reports.
The investigation of the restaurant is ongoing, and victims have been encouraged to call Metro Health if they consumed food at Pasha Mediterranean Grill between July 29th and August 2nd, and thereafter became ill. So far, health inspectors have identified at least two employees who were ill in the week leading up to the outbreak. At least one employee who was present when Metro Health shuttered the restaurant on August 2nd, and who was interviewed on Telemundo, stated that as many as 7 employees were sick in the days leading up to the restaurant's closure. This employee also stated that employees routinely either failed to use gloves or failed to change them between tasks at the restaurant.
The national food safety lawyers at Ron Simon & Associates will be using discovery in the cases they have already filed to investigate these claims.
