Series Premieres on Romio Digital Platforms
NEW YORK, Feb. 5, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Tarik Sansal, founder and CEO of Romio, the soon-to-launch mobile platform that allows users to find and book local services from trusted experts, announced today the debut of a content series that charts the burgeoning company's path to build its app in New York's vibrant entrepreneurial culture. Building Romio follows the Romio family, including the team, experts, service providers and users as they gear up for the launch of Romio. The series premieres on the Romio website.
"Romio is a fascinating story in itself and we want to share our experience in starting our company with the public," said Sansal. "There is no greater thrill in business than launching a startup, especially one as groundbreaking as Romio. Our purpose is to connect users with service providers through a network built on trust, transparency and community, and bringing that to life in a content series is part of that promise."
In each episode, cameras follow the team as they prepare for its March debut, setting the strategies behind promotion, public relations and getting the product ready for its public unveiling. The series will give viewers an inside perspective of launching a startup that's raw, emotional and insightful. In pulling back the curtains, viewers are given a rare opportunity to observe and connect with the people behind the development of the product, which will inspire confidence and provide a rich sense of its impact on consumers. Created by Sansal, Building Romio also includes Scott Sklarin of Sklarin Communications as producer and Rich Poller of Leo Rising Productions as editor.
"Building a startup can be daunting. From nurturing the idea to raising capital, recruiting the right team, crafting your launch strategy and how far you're willing to go to make it work. We wanted to share our experience and knowledge so anyone interested has access to our hard-earned lessons," said Sansal. "This is not just a content series, it's an honest, no-holds-barred look at the ups and downs, joys and challenges of building a company and community. There is no part of Romio that is off limits. We think viewers are going to enjoy getting an inside look at the experience."
