Romarco corrects certain prior disclosures

TORONTO, April 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Romarco Minerals Inc. (TSXV: R) ("Romarco" or the "Company"). In connection with the filing of the preliminary short form prospectus for Romarco's recently announced $120 million bought-deal financing (see press release dated March 22, 2010), the Company has been requested to clarify the disclosure of the wording pertaining to resource references set out in certain of its press releases, material change reports, and quarterly and year-end Management Discussion and Analysis (MD&A) issued during the 2009 calendar year. NI 43-101 prohibits the addition of inferred resources to the other categories of mineral resources. While Romarco has disclosed these separate categories it inadvertently combined them in text descriptions of the property when referring to total resources in certain press releases and MD&A's. For further clarification, the resource estimate figures and grades previously disclosed remain accurate in each of the categories.

As a result, the Company hereby withdraws references to "total resource", "total resources" and "total gold resource" and any contained-metal figures in the Company's March 26, 2009 press release, April 8, 2009 material change report, and MD&A's for the 2008 year-end and the first three quarters of 2009.

In addition, the Company hereby withdraws its statement in its July 13, 2009 press release that the mineralization in drill hole RC-1547 will be open-pitable, until the finalization and release of its new feasibility study which is currently underway.
