Roman & Gaynor Sponsors Edinburgh Cyclocross Challenge

CLEARWATER, Fla., Dec. 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Personal injury law firm Roman & Gaynor is proud to announce that in 2014, for the second consecutive year, they will be sponsoring the Edinburgh Cyclocross Challenge in Dunedin, Florida. Last year's Edinburgh Cyclocross Challenge was held on September 21^st and 22^nd at Highlander Park.

"Cyclocross and Roman & Gaynor have joined together to bring safety and awareness about sharing the road so that both cyclists and drivers arrive home to their families safely," said Tampa Bay Cyclocross promoter Zach Fout. "Together we can help bring awareness to everyone that it's both the responsibility of cyclists and drivers to follow the laws of the road." 

Men, women and children of all ages compete in Cyclocross either using a Cyclocross bike, which looks like a road bike with wider tires that resemble mountain bike tread, or a mountain bike. The competitors encounter grass, sand, dirt, mud and different obstacles that require dismounting off the bike and then remounting back on the bike. Cyclocross is regarded as a family and spectator-friendly sport.
