Rolta's Q1 FY-13 Consolidated Revenue Grows 5.6% and Net Profit 32.4% Sequentially

Rolta India Limited, a leading provider of innovative IT solutions for many vertical segments, including federal and state governments, defense and homeland security, utilities, process, power, banking and insurance, today announced unaudited financial results for quarter ended September 30, 2012(Q1 FY-13) which have undergone a limited review by statutory auditors of the company.

FINANCIAL HIGHLIGHTS

• Consolidated Revenue for Q1 FY-13 at Rs. 470.14 crores (Rs. 4.70 Billion) against Rs. 445.10 crores (Rs. 4.45 billion) in Q4 FY-12, registering a sequential growth of 5.6%.
• Consolidated Profit after Tax for Q1 FY-13 at Rs. 63.21 crores (Rs. 0.63 Billion) against Rs. 47.74 crores (Rs. 0.48 Billion) in Q4 FY-12, registering a sequential growth of 32.4%.
• Rolta has consciously and steadily focused on transforming its business model from being services-centric to one that increasingly leverages its Intellectual Property ("IP"). This carefully thought-out strategic direction was adopted to provide a differentiated high-value portfolio of solutions to our customers. In keeping with this business strategy, the company has reorganized its business into two segments - Enterprise Geospatial and Engineering Solutions (EGES); and Systems Integration & Enterprise IT Solutions (EITS). The revised segment information constitutes only a reclassification of its presentation, and has no impact on reported net income or earnings per share for any period.
