Rollie Quinn named new leader of Ernst & Young LLP's Federal Practice
WASHINGTON, Dec. 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Ernst & Young LLP announced today that Rollie Quinn has joined the firm as the Federal Practice Leader. Quinn will be based in Greater Washington, and will have responsibility for the Federal team's go-to-market efforts across all service lines.
"Rollie brings in-depth sector knowledge and experience that will help us continue to grow this practice," said Deborah Kissire, East Central Sub-Area Managing Partner, Ernst & Young LLP. "His leadership roles in directing complex client relationships represent the kind of leadership we have been seeking to further our investment and footprint in this practice."
Quinn succeeds Marc Andersen, who has served as the interim Federal Practice Leader and as Markets Leader since February 2011. Under Andersen's leadership the practice achieved record growth, addressing issues relating to Defense and National Security, Health, Infrastructure and International Development. Andersen will continue his role as Markets Leader and will work closely with Quinn to ensure the orderly transition and continued success of the practice throughout FY13 and beyond.
With over 20 years of industry experience, Quinn has dedicated his career to serving the public sector market. He brings experience in scaling a federal practice, having led teams that have significantly grown at several multinational organizations, including PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), BearingPoint, KPMG and Raytheon Company. Most recently, Quinn served as the National Security Practice Leader at PwC, overseeing a multimillion dollar business with a client base that included the Department of Defense, the Department of State and the United States Agency for International Development.
Quinn has also served in a variety of leadership roles in the US Army, including as an American Combat Arms Officer in 1st Battalion Patriot, 43rd Air Defense. He is a US Army Pathfinder, a Paratrooper and a Patriot Weapons Officer.
Quinn, a resident of Northern Virginia, is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point with a BS in Electrical Engineering.
