Marula by John Paul Selects has organized women's collectives in Namibia, Swaziland and Madagascar to wild harvest marula kernels, which the company then cold-presses and converts into highly effective all-natural skin care and cosmetics for sale in the developed world.
With 50% higher antioxidant level, Pure Marula Facial Oil is far more powerful than the leading Argan Oil or Grapeseed Oil at fighting the free radicals that cause premature skin aging. Coupled with fast absorption, a satin finish, and a naturally delicate essential oil scent, Pure Marula Facial Oil is the ultimate age-defying beauty oil.
Commenting, Jonathan Kendrick said, "Marula by John Paul Selects believes in 'compassionate capitalism' as a means to empower people to free themselves from the cycle of poverty that continues to plague many people across Africa. We pay our partners far more than the national average farm-worker incomes in the countries in which we have set up our women's collectives and, in addition, we adhere to Fair Trade practices while also proving education funds for the children of our partners. In addition, we plan to build schools and to sponsor mobile medical clinics while helping to protect marula trees from deforestation by industrial agriculture concerns."
Within the next 12 months, Marula by John Paul Selects will produce 100,000 kilograms of raw marula oil, increasing to 300,000 kilograms in 2016.

Notes to Editors:
Maurla by John Paul Selects values the inherent natural properties of Marula oil and we take great strides to retain the raw state of marula oil with all its beneficial properties.
Other mass-produced marula oils are obtained by crushing the entire fruit (the skin, nut and kernal together) then extracting the oil using extreme heat and chemicals. This process kills the naturally occurring properties, leaving residue behind and rendering the oil void of most of its effective skincare benefits.
Every single marula nut used for Pure Marula Oil by John Paul Selects is sustainably wild harvested from marula trees, which produce more antioxidant-rich oil than the farmed and fertilized trees. Each marula nut is carefully opened by hand, and only the purest blonde kernels are cold pressed with no heat or chemicals. This superior process ensures our Pure Marula Oil is the highest-quality, maximum benefit beauty oil.
RELATIONSHIPS:
Marula by John Paul Selects has partnered with the Her Majesty the Queen Mother of Swaziland's Rural Develop Foundation to empower rural women in Swaziland and preserve the marula trees there.
Marula by John Paul Selects has partnered with CERET in Namibia, a private/public Development Organization in Namibia dedicated to empowering women and preserving the marula tree.
PROTECTING AND PRESERVING THE MARULA TREES!
In places like Swaziland, the marula tree is in danger. Industrial Agriculture is threatening decade's old marula forests which are being cut down to create sugar cane fields, farmed by large multi-national conglomerates. Marula by John Paul Selects's partnership with HMQM of Swaziland is demonstrating that more wealth and jobs can be created by preserving the marula forests for the green production of marula oil as opposed to industrial sugar cane farming. Marula by John Paul Selects has partnered with HMQM of Swaziland to protect the 2,000,000-marula trees in the Kingdom.
