Roger Drake Appointed Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Morton's Restaurant Group
CHICAGO, Feb. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Morton's The Steakhouse today announced that Roger Drake has been named Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications. In his new role, Drake will oversee all day-to-day marketing activities for the company, and will be focused on both internal and external communications programs.
"Roger has 20 years of marketing and public relations experience with our company and has been a driving force in helping us to build and expand our Morton's The Steakhouse brand," said Christopher Artinian, President and Chief Executive Officer of Morton's Restaurant Group, Inc. "Throughout the last two decades, he has been instrumental in the execution of innovative programs and exclusive special events for our Morton's guests."
In his new role, Mr. Drake will be responsible for developing and implementing the strategic vision of the company's marketing programs and promotions, both externally and internally. Mr. Drake will be working very closely with the Morton's executive team and the company's strong marketing and sales teams to continue to further enhance company revenues and overall awareness for the Morton's The Steakhouse brand.
Prior to his Morton's career, Mr. Drake previously owned and operated Drake Productions, a video and marketing communications company. Prior to that, he served as senior producer and editor at Major League Baseball Productions, and is an Emmy Award winner.
A Garden City, New York resident, Mr. Drake resides with his wife, Joanne, and their four children, and is a graduate of Rutgers University. Drake is currently a visiting professor at Rutgers University, teaching an MBA level course on Social Media.
