The goal of the education program was to promote dental health and oral hygiene during the formative years, but to do it in a fun and innovative way. The office staff visited various campuses in the community along with their official mascot – "MooMoo" the cow – to demonstrate correct oral care and provide the local children with free dental supplies.
The children were shown how to brush and floss, they took pictures with the mascot, and they learned about cavities and how they form in teeth. They were allowed to "brush" Moo's teeth and tongue and to actively participate in the skit, all with the goal of getting a hand's on feel for how to properly care for teeth and gums. At the end of the day, each child received a certificate of completion for participating in the event.
Rodeo Dental & Orthodontics strives to be the leader in oral health education within the community and was proud to support children's dental education in the community. Rodeo Dental wishes to thank the local schools and establishments that worked in partnership with these efforts.
