Rodeo Dental Celebrates Hispanic Heritage!
BROWNSVILLE, Texas, Oct. 4, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- In mid September, Oral Health Advisors from Rodeo Dental and Orthodontics continued their involvement in the community by hosting a two day party for new and existing patients, with an open invitation for anyone in the Brownsville area to attend. The event's theme was based on the significance of the dates, which were chosen to promote awareness of and to celebrate Mexican independence from Spain, as well as mark the beginning of Spanish Heritage Month.

Festivities for both children and adults included competitive games, a live DJ, dancing, cavity fighting Xylitol candy (endorsed by six national dental associations), and a variety of food and drinks. Our educational mascot "Moo-Moo" the cow was present for all events, and prizes were awarded to the winners of the games. Toothbrushes were distributed as part of the winnings.
Rodeo Dental and Orthodontics continues to strive for a strong foothold in the community and has historically hosted numerous events and programs with an educational focus in a fun setting. We look forward to hosting additional events that are fun and informative, and that help promote good oral health!
