Rod Jones Artist, Creator of Receptive Abstract Patternism©, Retains Simply the Best Public Relations to Introduce His Work to Media, Set Designers, Collectors & More
LAKE ARROWHEAD, Calif., April 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Contemporary abstract painter and creator of the style Receptive Abstract Patternism©, Rod Jones Artist (www.rodjonesartist.com) of Lake Arrowhead, California, announced today that his studio has retained Simply the Best Public Relations (www.simplythebestpublicrelations.com) as its PR firm of record to publicize his original paintings nationally to the art media, set directors, collectors, galleries, museums and more.
Recently, a Rod Jones Artist original work was selected by Hall of Fame Inductee Set Designer Beth Kushnick for CBS's hit series "The Good Wife," which is currently in its new season. Since "The Good Wife" has an estimated viewing audience of over 13.3 million viewers, it is a fitting time to launch a series of innovative PR campaigns targeted to the art media, set designers and art enthusiasts introducing them to works of Rod Jones Artist.
"Our publicity will position Rod Jones Artist to a new and expanding audience that includes the wide spectrum of art media as well as to the armchair art lover to serious collectors, galleries and museums," states Kim Morgan, president of Simply the Best PR. "We are excited to build upon the massive exposure that 'The Good Wife' has given his work," she adds.
Rod also admits that he enjoys the creative process of working with set designers on a television and film format. He states, "It's really important for the tv and film community to include artists in their creative process to help expose fine art to the general audience, and with Simply the Best PR's campaigns, we know we'll reach the decision makers and the media that we need to."
Rod has only pursued art over the last few years. Prior to that, he spent 25 years as a commercial photographer, shooting everything from product shots to high fashion. On one of his photo shoots, he photographed Francois Gilot and her husband Jonas Salk, and Francois became a true inspiration to him.
Rod Jones Artist is available for interviews.
