Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory announces Alberta flood relief commitment
VANCOUVER, June 27, 2013 /CNW/ - Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory Canada today announces its commitment to support flood-damaged Southern Alberta communities with a national initiative this Canada Day long weekend. RMCF franchise owners nationwide are donating $1.00 from the sale of every delicious chocolate, caramel and candy apple sold from Friday June 28, 2013 to Monday July 1, 2013. All proceeds will go directly to Red Cross flood relief efforts.
"Since we opened our first Canadian location in Whistler, B.C. in 1988 we have been actively involved in the communities we serve. Our Alberta roots go back to our West Edmonton Mall location which opened in 1991. Our franchise owners and staff were eager to get on board with this program to support the recovery efforts in Southern Alberta in any way we can." - Brian Kerzner, President, RMCF
