Rockefeller & Co. Names Charles S. Willauer Senior Vice President

NEW YORK, Sept. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Rockefeller & Co., Inc. announced today the recent hire of Charles S. Willauer.  Charlie joins Rockefeller & Co.'s Boston office as a Senior Vice President working with high net worth families and institutions.

Prior to joining Rockefeller & Co., Charlie was a Senior Managing Director with Windhaven Investment Management, where in addition to advising private clients and institutions, he managed the firm's Relationship Management Group.  As Principal at Windhaven's predecessor company, Windward Investment Management, Charlie served on the investment committee, in addition to working with institutional and family clients.  He has also held business development positions with Fleet Boston Financial, TrueBridge Financial, and Separation Technologies, Inc.  Charlie spent the first twelve years of his career in the oceanographic technology industry.

He received an M.B.A. in International Finance and Entrepreneurship from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College and a B.S. in Engineering from the College of Engineering at Northeastern University.  He currently chairs the Board of Trustees for Thompson Island Outward Bound and serves as an overseer for Sea Education Association.
