Rock Star Kitchen Debuted on April 17, 2012 on the Comcast Network and Will Air Every Tuesday at 5:30pm (ET) and Every Sunday at 8pm (ET)
NEW YORK, April 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The new syndicated TV show Rock Star Kitchen debuted on the Comcast Network on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at 5:30pm. The show is expected to expand in the near future to include affiliates of NBC in select areas, as well as featured vignettes on the screens on Continental, Frontier and JetBlue Airlines flights. It will also be available to Verizon Fios subscribers in select areas.
The Comcast Network covers much of the East Coast, as well as 30 additional markets throughout the country, reaching in excess of 30 million households per week. Rock Star Kitchen will also be available for download on Hulu and iTunes.
Rock Star Kitchen is a unique combination of cooking and music; each week will feature different musical guests cooking their favorite dishes. The show is hosted by up-and-coming singer/songwriter Lisa Bouchelle, who has two national releases available and who has spent the last several years touring with artists such as Meat Loaf, Blues Traveler, and Ted Nugent.
What's better than a night out at a rock concert with your favorite artist? Hanging out with them at home... Lisa will be joined by renowned Chef Tony Clark, who has been named "One of the Best Chefs in America" by Food & Wine, as she hosts famous friends such as Foreigner, Eddie Money, Theory Of A Deadman, Daughtry, John Popper, The Fixx, Gloria Gaynor, Dee Snider, Night Ranger, Chubby Checker, and more.
They will cook their favorite dishes with Chef Tony, while Lisa gets the skinny on what's new with them, as well as great stories from their legendary careers. Finally, viewers will be treated to an acoustic performance, a "kitchen table jam," something most fans never get to see.
The show is produced by Jeff Davis, the man behind the hit Broadway show Rock Of Ages, soon to be a major motion picture starring Tom Cruise, Demi Moore and Russell Brand; Steven Horn, the director of the long-running cooking show Chef's Kitchen, and Hal B. Selzer of Trash Can Dreams, a New York based Management company.
