Rock Star Bret Michaels Featured on New Medical Website

PHOENIX, May 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Rocker and philanthropist Bret Michaels thanks the hospital who saved his life on a new medical website, Barrow50.org.

Michaels suffered from a life-threatening brain hemorrhage in 2010 and was rushed to Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix for treatment. The hemorrhage left the musician in critical condition and he remained hospitalized at Barrow for the duration of his treatment. Michaels will kick-off a special tour with Poison and Def Leppard in June, a solo album called Get Your Rock On out this summer and a line with PetSmart called the Bret Michaels Pets Rock Collection on June 18.
