The show's all-star cast is guaranteed to take you on a journey that is sure to jolt your inner rocker into overdrive!
Prior to each show, park visitors can engage and play the Rock Band® video game and compete for a chance to play the guitar, bass and drums gaming accessories on stage in the park's Showtime Theatre with live professional singers.
Each 30-minute show will feature 18 classic and contemporary rock songs from the game, such as Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger," Bon Jovi's "Livin'on a Prayer," the Jackson 5's "ABC," Queen's "Somebody to Love" and Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'."
The audience will choose the finale number, meaning it changes from show to show.
The creator and producer of the show, New York entertainment firm RWS and Associates, spent six months of around-the-clock work on costume development and stage and set design, and with the professional traveling singers and executives from MTV, whose parent company, Viacom, owns "Rock Band."
"This is not going to be your average theme park show," said Ryan Stana, an executive producer for RWS and Associates.
"Rock Band Live" debuts July 23rd at California's Great America. The show will be at the park until August 1 (no shows July 27th) and is included free with park admission or a season pass.
