Robert W. Thompson to join St. Paul Investment Firm Mairs & Power

(Bob) Thompson has joined the firm as Assistant Vice President and Fixed Income Portfolio Manager.  Bob holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of North Dakota and a MBA - Finance from the University of Minnesota.  He is a CFA Charterholder, and has 22 years of fixed income experience. Prior to joining Mairs & Power, Bob was Vice President, Corporate Bonds at Advantus Capital Management, a division of Securian, in St. Paul, MN and before that he worked for Lutheran Brotherhood (now Thrivent Financial). Bob's addition to its investment team strengthens Mairs & Power's fixed income management.
