Robert Steinkrauss and George Riedel Appointed as Members of the Board of Directors at NextDocs

CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa., Aug. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- NextDocs announced today that Robert A. Steinkrauss and George A. Riedel have been appointed to the company's Board of Directors. 

Robert A. Steinkrauss has more than 30 years of experience in senior executive leadership positions including having served as Chief Executive Officer and board member at more than a half-dozen technology companies including Agiliance, Core Security, Exinda and Whaleback Managed Services.  Steinkrauss has significant experience in raising capital, growing sales revenues, expanding global operations and negotiating complex transactions for the companies he has served.  He is a six-time Chief Executive Officer and two-time finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

George A. Riedel is an independent director on several boards including serving as the Chairman of the Board of Accedian Networks and as a director at PeerApp in Boston; Tessera Technologies in San Jose; and Cloudmark in San Francisco.  He previously served as President of Business Units and CSO at Nortel Networks and helped lead the company through its sale and restructuring of various business units.  He also led the company's effort to monetize 6,500 patents and patent applications; the patent sale was an unprecedented transaction generating $4.5 billion through sales to a consortium of Apple, Ericsson, RIM, Microsoft and EMC.  Prior to joining Nortel, he was VP of Strategy and M&A for Juniper Networks, where he led a series of acquisitions that doubled the size of the company over two years.  He began his career at McKinsey & Company where he spent 15 years serving clients in the technology sector in Asia and North America.
