Robert S. Kricheff joins SHENKMAN CAPITAL MANAGEMENT, INC. as High Yield Portfolio Manager

NEW YORK, July 1, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- SHENKMAN CAPITAL MANAGEMENT, INC., one of the largest independent managers of high yield assets in the United States, is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert S. Kricheff as Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager. Bob is a former Managing Director and Head of the Americas High Yield Sector Strategy for Credit Suisse. He will be based out of Shenkman Capital's New York office.

Bob, who has published three books on the topic of leveraged finance, has more than 20 years of experience in credit analysis. He has covered the media, cable, satellite, telecom, gaming, entertainment, healthcare, and energy industries, as well as emerging market companies. Bob is highly experienced in portfolio strategy and analysis and has focused on a wide range of corporate securities including high yield bonds, convertible bonds, bank loans, preferred stocks, and credit default swaps.

Bob earned his Bachelor's of Arts in Economics from New York University, and his Master of Science in Financial Economics from the University of London's School of Oriental and African Studies.
