Robert J. Squires Joins Sabine Biofuels as President
HOUSTON, Aug. 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Sabine Biofuels LLC announced today that Robert J. Squires has joined the Company in the newly-created position of President.
Mr. Squires brings to Sabine more than 30 years of experience in executive leadership and operational management in the petroleum, chemical and oleochemical industries in Canada, the United States, Germany and Malaysia. Prior to joining the Company, he served as President, North American Region, for Cognis Oleochemicals, and as Global Head of Operations for Emery Oleochemicals LLC, the largest North American oleochemicals producer, and one of the largest oleochemical companies globally. He also served more than 13 years with Huntsman Corporation where he was the operations director with responsibility for managing nine operating units in four locations in Canada and the U.S.
Mr. Squires earned a B.S. degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Waterloo and is a graduate from the Operations Management program from the IVEY School of Business at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada.
