Robert Ferguson Joins Korn/Ferry's San Francisco Office as Managing Director of Northern California

SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Korn/Ferry International (NYSE: KFY), a premier global provider of talent management solutions, today announced that Robert Ferguson has joined the Firm's San Francisco office as Managing Director of Northern California.

Mr. Ferguson, who has been with Korn/Ferry for 13 years, joins the San Francisco office from Seattle, where he served as Managing Director.  Previously, he was a Senior Client Partner in the Firm's Princeton, New Jersey office.  Mr. Ferguson assumes the role held for the past eight years by Jeff Hocking, who will continue with the Firm as Head of North America Technology.

Mr. Ferguson specializes in identifying top talent for Global 1000 and Fortune 500 corporations, as well as start-up and fast-growth companies. Many of his assignments are global in nature and involve collaborating with companies in Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America.

In addition to his experience working with prominent technology clients, Mr. Ferguson has worked with companies in many inter-related fields including pharmaceuticals, consumer health, medical devices, biotechnology, e-health, nutritional, animal health products and contract research organizations.  

Before joining Korn/Ferry in 1997, Mr. Ferguson was a managing director for a Princeton, New Jersey-based executive search firm specializing in healthcare products. 

He holds a bachelor's degree in science and mathematics from Thomas Edison State College.
