Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. Joins UISOL Board of Directors

LAFAYETTE, Calif., Aug. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Utility Integration Solutions, Inc. (UISOL), the utility industry business integration specialist and developer of the market leading demand response management software DRBizNet, today announced that renowned environmental advocate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. has joined the company's board of directors.

Regarding his board appointment, Kennedy said, "UISOL has been a leader in demand response and smart grid integration.  Working with UISOL, we hope to accelerate demand response from its current level, which is about four percent of peak electricity demand, to its estimated potential of 20 percent, in line with the FERC National Action Plan for Demand Response."

He serves as President of Waterkeeper Alliance, is a clinical professor and supervising attorney at Pace University School of Law, and is a venture partner and senior advisor at VantagePoint Venture Partners, one of the world's premiere cleantech venture capital firms.

Mr. Kennedy is a graduate of Harvard University, studied at the London School of Economics, and received his law degree from the University of Virginia Law School. He subsequently attended Pace University School of Law, where he was awarded a Masters Degree in Environmental Law.
