Roadwire Cares Joins Forces With Olive Crest To Present Christmas In July
Fifth Annual Event Brings Hope to At-Risk Southern California Children
LOS ANGELES, July 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Roadwire Cares, the nonprofit charity of Roadwire Inc., along with a community of SEMA-member companies, car builders and auto enthusiasts, are joining with the nonprofit organization Olive Crest to bring hope to Southern California's most at-risk children with a day of fun and a message of hope at this year's "Christmas in July" event, happening Saturday, July 29, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., at Olive Crest's Bellflower facility, 17800 Woodruff Ave., Suite F.
Olive Crest, based in Orange County, Calif., and with branches elsewhere in the U.S., is dedicated to preventing child abuse, to treating and educating at-risk children, and to preserving families. In keeping with is mission to bridge the gap between business resources and service to humanity, Roadwire Inc.—a leading supplier of custom-crafter OEM and aftermarket leather interiors—founded Roadwire Cares, a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to providing humanitarian aid.
During the "Christmas in July" event, Olive Crest foster kids will serve as the judges of the first-ever Kids Choice Award. The children will score paint/body, interior, engine, and wheels/suspension, as they learn from the vehicle owners the effort that went into creating each unique build.
