RMT Awarded Federal GSA for Environmental Services

MADISON, Wis., Sept. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- RMT, Inc., a leading environmental and energy company, has been awarded the Federal General Services Agreement (GSA) for Environmental Services.  This award allows federal, state and local government to purchase RMT services through a streamlined contracting process that includes pre-negotiated prices.  Under GSA Schedule 899, RMT can more easily assist governmental units with remediation and reclamation projects, environmental consulting, and geographic information systems.

"The GSA 899 Schedule is an important milestone in our efforts to effectively serve Federal Agencies," noted Elizabeth Boyette, RMT's Director of Federal Programs.  "Our governmental clients will have improved access to our experienced engineers, scientists and construction staff who are skilled at performance based contracting."

The General Services Administration performs a rigorous review before awarding this preferred contractor status.   RMT was evaluated on its professional capabilities, corporate structure, performance history, and customer satisfaction. Working under Contract Number GS-10-F0295W, RMT has GSA status through September 2015.

RMT will assist Federal Agencies on projects requiring expertise in complex remediation, property restoration, sediment management, metals treatment, air pollution control, EHS management, pollution prevention, NEPA, facility siting, and climate change management.
