BALTIMORE, Nov. 19, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- RMF Engineering announced today the acquisition of CxAnalytics, the Williamsburg, Va. based commissioning firm, creating what executives say is an enhancement to the firm's commissioning and condition assessment workforce and its capabilities across federal / state / local government, higher education and healthcare markets, where RMF has significant expertise. CxAnalytics is now fully owned by RMF and will operate as CxAnalytics, "an RMF Engineering company." Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
"CxAnalytics' clients, projects and services made the acquisition a natural fit for RMF," said Duane Pinnix, president and CEO of RMF Engineering. "With the acquisition come the talent, the resumes and the unique technical experience required to elevate our work in the secure space, specifically for mission critical facilities. It also poises RMF for continued growth, giving us a stronger foothold in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the regional federal marketplace."
RMF is the only firm in the State of Maryland to earn the Certified Commissioning Firm (CCF) designation through the Building Commissioning Association. Recognized by Consulting Specifying-Engineer magazine as one of the nation's top 25 "Commissioning Giants", RMF's and CxAnalytics' collective portfolio includes more than 150 commissioning projects.
Executives expect a near-term workforce expansion across the firm's commissioning group with up to five new positions over the next year. For a full list of current openings at RMF, visit www.rmf.com/careers.
