NEW YORK, June 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- RKCR/Y&R has hired Jonathan Burley as the agency's first Chief Creative Officer.
Jonathan Burley joins RKCR/Y&R from CHI & Partners where he led the creative output for the last six years. At RKCR/Y&R, Burley will work across the full UK client base and will be responsible for delivering the creative vision for the agency.
Mark Roalfe will continue in his role as Chairman and look after the agency's global accounts.
Burley has a proven track record in new business and has delivered stand out, transformational campaigns across a diverse client base including The Sunday Times, Samsung, British Gas, Argos, Lexus, The Prince's Trust, TalkTalk and McDonald's.
Burley was winner of one of the first Gold Creative Effectiveness Lions at Cannes for his McDonald's campaign "Trust" and also created one of the Gunn Report's most awarded ads "House of Cards" for Shelter. Most recently, he was responsible for leading the multi award-winning Lexus 'Hoverboard' campaign, which spans the worlds of content, PR, film and product design.
Throughout his career as both creative and creative leader, Burley's work has been consistently awarded at every major international awards show including Cannes, Clio, One Show, British Arrows, Eurobest, New York Festivals, Creative Circle, Campaign Big and D&AD.
