RJE Technologies, Inc. Acquires "Safety Turtle" Product Line

IRVINE, Calif., Feb. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- RJE Technologies, Inc., global provider of water safety and life saving products has acquired the assets of Terrapin Communications, maker of the Safety Turtle Child Alarm, the Pet Pool Alarm and the SOS adult immersion/man overboard alarm, expanding RJE's line of water safety products.

SonarGuard Pool Security Systems has been on the market for over 10 years and have already resulted in 10 recorded "saves."  The AquaGuard, consumer installed pool alarm was added to the product line in 2006. 

According to statistics from the Center for Disease Control, every day in the US alone ten people die from unintentional drowning, 2 of which are 14 or younger.  "Our vision is to reduce or eliminate this statistic by infusing the market with effective life saving products such as Safety Turtle and AquaGuard," said Jechart.
