The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) recently mandated all publicly traded companies must submit their financial reports using XBRL. According to the SEC, XBRL will help standardize financial statements, thereby making the data more transparent and useful. In June, approximately 8,000 of the smallest publicly traded companies and mutual funds will have to meet the XBRL directive. This is creating a new source of clients and, as the market share leader, Rivet is well positioned to win a significant amount of additional business.
"As one of the few true experts in XBRL, Rivet is on the cutting edge of financial technology," said Patrick Quinlan, CEO of Rivet Software. "Our market-leading solutions are ideal for helping new companies meet SEC requirements. Rivet employees help clients realize the power of accessing and analyzing data in completely new ways. It's a fantastic opportunity to work with competitive wages, access to benefits, and the ability to work in a fun, energetic environment."
