"When we made the decision as a company to go global and to expand into the private market by planning the release of a more robust Crossfire Analytics in 2014, I couldn't think of a better person for this role," said Rivet CEO Madelaine Rohan. "I had the pleasure of working with Frode Rognstad at FRx where he was one of the key architects of their products and where he worked side by side with my husband and founder of FRx, Mike Rohan. Together, they delivered a top of the line solution that became the standard in the financial reporting industry and as a consequence he became one of my husband's most trusted and respected engineers. I am extremely confident that he will lead his team to grow the Microsoft Office tools that accountants trust to better fit their financial reporting and compliance needs within Rivet's signature product, Crossfire."
Rognstad is a 20-year veteran of the software industry. He brings to Rivet an unmatched level of software development, a strong background in management experience and a deep understanding of the financial reporting market that is second to none. His talents lie in the areas of Microsoft-based software architecture, data mining and hardware engineering. Prior to Rivet, Rognstad was the founder and chief architect of Exsilient, CTO at CiberTrax and Q Strategies, principal architect at FRx Software and director of software development for Epicor Software. Rognstad holds both a Master's of Science degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from California State University, Long Beach.
"Being part of Rivet is being part of a company that is driven by passion, commitment and perseverance. I am honored that Madelaine thought of me to help her fulfill Mike's vision, continue his legacy and present to the market what we call internally FRx2." Rognstad said. "Rivet is also poised to further drive its leadership in the XBRL and Document Management industries. Its unique advantage in the marketplace with tight integration of Microsoft Office tools and Crossfire gives us the ability to capture more market share while introducing more advanced solutions to other markets. I welcome the opportunity to be part of Rivet."
Rivet also added two members to its Board of Directors – Charles Graham and Paul J. Zecchi. Graham brings 30 plus years of business and board-level experience as CEO of Global Aviation at DHL and as a member of DHL Express' Board of Directors. Graham's senior-level business acumen, particularly in the international logistics sector, will give Rivet keen insights as it scales globally. His most recent focus has been on various large-scale investment projects. Graham holds a Law degree from the University of Glasgow.
Zecchi has over 40 years of business and board-level experience including board positions with Novus Energy, Cue Acoustics, Inc., Society of Petroleum Engineers, Chamber of the Americas and the Auraria Campus Library System. He is currently the president and chief executive officer of Central Resources, Inc.
