RiverFront Investment Group Names Karrie Southall To Executive Committee
RICHMOND, Va., July 31, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- RiverFront Investment Group, a global asset allocation manager with over $4.7 billion in assets under management, announced today that Karrie Southall (38), RiverFront's Chief Compliance Officer and Director of Operations & Trading has been named to the Firm's Executive Committee. Previously, the Executive Committee consisted of company founders Michael Jones, Pete Quinn, Rod Smyth, and Doug Sandler, who will continue to serve.

Karrie has been with RiverFront since the company's founding in 2008. She began her career at Wachovia Securities in 1999 as a Financial Advisor for a six-member Wealth Management team. Karrie began working with the Wachovia Advisory Service Group – Compass Advisory Portfolios in 2004, where her primary role was marketing of the portfolios and disseminating market information to Advisors.
Karrie is a graduate of St. Catherine's School in Richmond and earned a BA in Economics and Spanish from the University of Virginia, as well as an MBA from the University of Richmond. She also holds a Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM) from the CFA Institute.
