RITA to Host Conference on Self-Directed IRAs, March 24 - 27, 2019
WASHINGTON, Feb. 5, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- The Retirement Industry Trust Association (RITA) will host a conference on March 24 – 27, 2019, inviting attendees to advance their knowledge of self-directed IRAs. The event is designed for trust companies, banks, third-party administrators, RIAs, CPAs, attorneys and professionals in the self-directed IRA industry. The conference will take place two blocks from the White House at the historic Willard InterContinental Hotel.
"RITA's conference not only provides a unique networking opportunity, but delivers the knowledge and tools to help retirement industry professionals successfully navigate the challenges, issues and opportunities of the rapidly growing industry," said Kelli Click, President of STRATA Trust Company.
According to RITA, attendees will have the opportunity to gain knowledge from industry experts and influencers. They will also be able to network with industry professionals from all over the country.
"Attending this conference is beneficial for many reasons. Not only will attendees hear critical updates from key legislators and regulators, but they'll also receive insights into the industry's best practices. This year, we'll even be talking about how millennials are saving for retirement. This conference is an excellent opportunity for anyone who wants to keep up with industry changes," explained Mary Mohr, Executive Director of RITA.
Topics on the conference agenda include congressional and regulatory updates, federal and state regulatory perspectives, IRA research, how to reach millennials, and more. RITA members and non-members alike can register for the conference, though members receive a discounted price.
When asked about the conference, Gary Anestsbetger, CEO of Millennium Trust Company, said, "The RITA conferences are unlike anything that I have attended during the three decades in the trust business. There are virtually no other gatherings where you can sit down with your peers and competitors to discuss truly significant common problems, with next steps resulting in both guidance and solutions. All trust and administrative professionals that have any interest in the Individual Retirement Account world should participate."
