Derived from the native Iroquois language, Orenda translates to the summoning of personal strength to change one's own life; and by doing so, affect change in the world. A heavily educated and trained social worker possessing over a decade of experience, Rita started Orenda Healing in March of 2015 to bring her rural region excellent caring and compassionate mental health counseling while incorporating empowered speakers and components.

A Registered Social Worker through the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers, Rita works with families, couples and individuals in the areas of anxiety management, behavior modification, general counseling and holistic healing; as well as and professional development services, grief and bereavement therapies, stress management and more.
