Righttime Medical Care CEO Named Chair of Urgent Care Association Health & Public Policy Committee
Dr. Robert Graw will work to support urgent care as an integral part of the U.S. health care system
ANNAPOLIS, Md., Feb. 12, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Robert G. Graw, Jr., M.D., CEO of Maryland-based urgent care company Righttime Medical Care, has been appointed Chair of the Health & Public Policy Committee of the Urgent Care Association of American (UCAOA). Dr. Graw has been a longtime active member of the committee and has represented the UCAOA in key meetings on Capitol Hill over several years.
In his position, Dr. Graw will lead the committee in their advancement of U.S. healthcare policy and key issues affecting patient care. Dr. Graw and other members of the UCAOA Health & Public Policy Committee will meet with government organizations and lawmakers over the coming year to achieve specific purposes, including: promoting universal access for urgent care to include service members, veterans and their beneficiaries using TRICARE, as well as seniors enrolled in Medicare; promoting affordable healthcare under the American Health Care Act; improving antibiotic stewardship; and supporting urgent care as an integral part of the health care delivery system in communities across the country.

Dr. Graw founded Righttime Medical Care more than 25 years ago, and also serves as the medical director for HeadFirst Sports Injury and Concussion Care, which he launched in 2011. He began his career at the National Cancer Institute, where he led the experimental hematology program. Dr. Graw is Board-certified in pediatrics, with a sub-specialty Board certification in pediatric hematology-oncology, and has published more than 100 articles in medical literature.
