Righttime Medical Care Announces New Program Director at HeadFirst Sports Injury and Concussion Care
ANNAPOLIS, Md., May 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Righttime Medical Care has announced it has recently hired Joelle Ridgeway, former Executive Director of Mary T. Maryland, as the Program Director for its HeadFirst Sports Injury and Concussion Care program. Ridgeway replaces Amy Knappen, who will continue at HeadFirst as Program Advisor, as well as in her position as Chief Creative Officer of Righttime Medical Care.
Ridgeway brings to HeadFirst 8 years of experience serving adults with traumatic head injuries at Mary T. Maryland. Trained in recreational therapy, psychology, and healthcare administration, Ridgeway is the current Chair of the Anne Arundel County Commission on Disability Issues and works closely with Anne Arundel County Government to address disability issues throughout the county. She has worked on state policy groups for traumatic brain injury and has participated in the development of several community programs and services for people living with brain injuries. Ridgeway also serves as the Outreach Council Representative for the Brain Injury Association of Maryland's Region 5, which includes Anne Arundel and Prince George's Counties. In her new role, Joelle will be responsible for overseeing all HeadFirst operations.
