RidgeWorth Launches Monthly Podcasts, Including the 'RidgeWorth Commute'
Short 5-7 minute podcasts provide asset class updates and information for plan advisors
ATLANTA, March 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- RidgeWorth Investments announced today that it has launched five different podcasts to meet the needs of investment professionals, and has provided a range of ways to access them. The interview-style podcasts include "The Fixed Income Market 5" with Jim Keegan, "The Equity Market 5" with Don Wordell, "The Style Class Focus 5" which provides an update on the market environment for a different style class each month, and "The Plan Advisor Tools 5" which provides information that's pertinent to retirement plan advisors. Those who want to hear all four podcasts can listen to or subscribe to the "RidgeWorth Commute" which combines the four into one easy-to-listen-to podcast.
"We have always known that successful investment professionals are not all the same. They have different information needs and particular ways they like to access information," said David Craig, Director of Marketing for RidgeWorth Investments. "We also know that their time is extremely valuable and limited."
To address the varying preferences, RidgeWorth has made the podcasts available in a range of ways. At the RidgeWorth website, individuals can listen to or download the podcast sessions and read the transcripts. They can also subscribe to the RSS feed for each podcast or create a custom RSS feed that combines multiple podcasts. Additionally, the five podcasts can also be subscribed to through iTunes. "Our goal is to provide investment professionals the information they need when and how they want it," said Craig.
Each new podcast session is generally available in the first half of the month and reviews the current market environment. For more information, visit the RidgeWorth Podcast webpage.
