RICOH MP 2553/ MP 3053/ MP 3353 mobilize information for small offices and workgroups
MALVERN, Pa., Dec. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Ricoh Americas Corporation today announced a new series of monochrome multifunction products (MFPs) for small offices and workgroups eager to streamline their information workflow at work and around the planet.
The RICOH MP 2553/MP 3053/MP 3353 MFPs are capable of printing documents of up to 11 x 17 inches at speeds of 25, 30 and 33 pages per minute respectively. They also copy, scan and fax, serving as powerful information engines for the workers who use them.
The RICOH MP 2553/MP 3053/MP 3353 series expands the boundaries of the office by connecting customers to a wide range of powerful cloud services for scanning, document storage, collaboration and mobile printing in Ricoh's Integrated Cloud Environment (ICE).1 ICE provides instant access to important content wherever users are in the world.
For additional mobile printing capabilities, the new MFPs offer smartphone and tablet-based printing through optional Ricoh HotSpot Enterprise™ software or Ricoh's SmartDevicePrint app.
For users who like the feel of a tablet, the MFP offers an optional Smart Operation Panel that employs a customizable 10-inch diagonal touchscreen. Workers encounter simple, intuitive icons and carry out their work by tapping, pinching and flicking. Users can easily toggle to the traditional interface whenever they like.
In addition to turning paper documents into electronic files, the RICOH MP 2553/MP 3053/MP 3353 MFPs support optional optical character recognition (OCR), which turns scanned documents into editable, searchable documents in up to 14 languages. Customers can add optional internal finishing capabilities without significantly expanding the compact 23-x-26-x-33-inch footprint.
