Ricoh to introduce powerful collaboration solutions at InfoComm 2015
Interactive whiteboards, portable videoconferencing systems and projectors drive new, more flexible ways of working
ORLANDO, Fla., June 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Ricoh will demonstrate an exciting array of new solutions to support rapidly emerging workstyles at InfoComm 2015, June 17-19 in Orlando, Florida, at Ricoh's Booth #4043.
Visitors to Ricoh's booth will experience new interactive whiteboards, portable videoconferencing systems and projectors, all designed to help workers meet the new challenges of today's world of work. The solutions help organizations easily access important, relevant information and collaborate with teams working from home, the office or the road.
Visitors to Ricoh's booth will sample the power of:
Big-screen interactive whiteboards – The new RICOH Interactive Whiteboard D5510 enables presenters to create, edit and share drawings, designs and documents on a 55-inch-diagonal HD touchscreen, incorporating interactive content from their PCs, smartphones, tablets or thumb drives. As many as eight D5510s can be networked to support more than 160 onsite and remote participants at once. Visitors will also get a first look the 65-inch HD RICOH Interactive Whiteboard D6500, set to launch this fall.
Videoconferencing systems – The second generation of Ricoh's innovative portable business-class videoconferencing system, the new RICOH Unified Communication System P3500, combines the power, security and quality of costly fixed, room-based business-class videoconferencing systems with the simplicity and portability of a laptop. The compact 3.5-pound P3500 helps workers collaborate with colleagues, customers and partners around the city or the planet, sharing real-time HD video, audio and documents as they work. The system includes an HD camera, microphone and speakers, and fits that inside a soft-sided carrying case.
Affordable projectors – The RICOH PJ S2240, RICOH PJ X2240 and RICOH PJ WX2240 are light, bright and versatile projectors offering high-end performance at affordable prices. Ideal for schools and businesses, the portable projection systems display images from PCs, cameras, video cameras and DVD players, projecting images of 30 inches to 300 inches diagonal at a range of resolutions.
A short-throw projection system capable of displaying an image between 30 and 400 inches diagonal at a resolution of up to WXGA from 26 to 568 inches. Ideal for mounting in education settings, the new RICOH PJ X4241N and RICOH PJ WX4241N projectors enables an instructor to stand in front of a screen without casting a shadow or being blinded by glare.
A new desk-edge projection system designed to be placed on the end of a conference room table, which frees up working surface and directs heat, glare, wires and fan sounds away from the participants. The RICOH PJ X3351N and RICOH PJ WX3351N projectors are capable of projecting an image 40 to 400 inches diagonal from a distance of 30 to 482 inches at a resolution of up to WXGA.
A new line of brighter "standard install" projectors, including Ricoh's first HD projector. Designed for table or ceiling placement in small-to-mid-sized conference rooms, the RICOH PJ X5460, RICOH PJ WX5460 and RICOH PJ HD5450 projectors display images up to 300-inches diagonal at a resolution of up to 1080p.
"These devices reflect an emerging world where employees no longer have to take information as it comes," said Matt Sakauchi, Vice President, Visual Communications Group, Ricoh Americas Corporation. "Whether they want their information projected on a wall in front of a crowd, shared globally via an interactive whiteboard, or integrated into a secure on-the-fly videoconferencing session, their information will be working for them, not the other way around. That's information mobility."
