"At Ricoh, we're focused on information mobility, which means helping customers get information to those who need it, when they need it to make critical business decisions, and these are our newest AV solutions to do just that," said Matt Sakauchi, Vice President, Technology Marketing, Ricoh Americas Corporation.
The new RICOH Interactive Whiteboard D5500 is an interactive hardware/software solution for corporations and government agencies that need to collaborate on important business initiatives across offices and geographies. The product enables a company to easily present finely detailed information and images on the 55-inch-diagonal HD screen. Participants can view the information via a virtual private network using PCs, tablets, smartphones or up to four RICOH Interactive Whiteboard D5500s connected across an enterprise. Annotations made on one D5500 appear instantaneously on the other three. The RICOH Interactive Whiteboard D5500 is simple to use and offers a finer, smoother, higher-resolution writing experience than most competing solutions.
A more economical whiteboard solution involves Ricoh's new RICOH PJ WX4141N/PJ WX4141NI Ultra Short Throw Business Projection System. The system can make walls and fixed physical whiteboards interactive, enabling businesses, schools and other organizations to improve their performance through more dynamic collaboration. Presenters can display, underline, highlight, annotate, capture, and share projected images that previously would have disappeared when the presentation ended. The new RICOH PJ WX4141NI (the "I" signifies interactive) incorporates an embedded interactivity sensor to activate an included electronic markup pen.
Available now, dealers can now create a complete videoconferencing solution that enables individuals or groups to come together virtually anywhere there's an internet connection, on the spur of the moment, enabling them to easily capture, transform and manage information allowing for quicker and more informed decision making. The solution combines two unique Ricoh technologies, the RICOH Unified Communication System P3000 and the RICOH PJ WX4141N Ultra Short Throw projector, in a complete, portable videoconferencing solution for business-to-business applications. The solution helps eliminate the need for costly, complicated permanent videoconferencing rooms, providing a more affordable solution for entire staffs to share. When the need arises, workers can carry the system to their offices, conference rooms or "huddle rooms" and collaborate around the planet.
The Ricoh Digital Signage Solution offers a large-scale alternative to flat-panel digital signage systems with a unique new solution that produces a larger image than conventional flat-panel displays. This mobile projector-based system gives customers the freedom to project brilliant signage or graphics onto flat, curved, conical and even spherical surfaces up to 15 feet wide. Available now, the Ricoh Digital Signage Solution packages Ricoh's groundbreaking, highly portable RICOH PJ WX4141N Ultra Short Throw projectors with a Lenovo computer preloaded with Scalable Display Technologies' edge-blending software. The solution is ideal for hotel lobbies, corporate events, hospital foyers, museums, clubs – anywhere one wants signage that will grab attention.
The new 4500-lumen RICOH PJ WX5361N and 5000-lumen RICOH PJ X5371N high-end business-class projectors display bright, crisp images as large as 25 feet diagonally from distances of up to 45 feet. Ideal for bigger rooms in businesses, schools, government agencies and houses of worship, they come in a choice of formats: WXGA (1280 x 800 resolution) in the RICOH PJ WX5361N and XGA (1024x768 resolution) in the RICOH PJ X5371N. The new projectors offer a host of new features and capabilities for the AV integrator, including a built-in networking capability, optional Wi-Fi connectivity, and additional inputs, such as HDMI for Blu-ray video.
