Rick's Cabaret New York Names Executive Chef
NEW YORK, March 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Rick's Cabaret New York—the No. 1 gentlemen's club in Manhattan—today named Franklin Edwards as Executive Chef, a new position.
Rick's Cabaret New York, which will celebrate its 10th anniversary later this year, is owned by a subsidiary of RCI Hospitality Holdings, Inc. (NasdaqGM: RICK), the leading company in adult gentlemen's clubs and sports bars/restaurants, which is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its IPO this year.
Trained at the French Culinary Institute, Mr. Edwards has held steadily rising positions at well-known eating establishments in New York City, including:
- B Smith (Executive Chef, 2012-2014)
- Joanne Trattoria (Executive Sous Chef, 2011-2012), where he served as assistant to celebrity chef Art Smith
- Legends Hospitality at Yankee Stadium (Sous Chef Supervisor, 2010-2011), where he was responsible for the exclusive Audi Yankees Club and the famous Legend's Lounge
"Mr. Edwards' appointment is part of a series of enhancements to Rick's Cabaret related to its upcoming 10th Anniversary," said Shaun Kevlin, Regional Manager. Rick's Steakhouse opens at 11 AM on weekdays and 12 PM on weekends for lunch, dinner and other items, and serves until as late as 3 AM.
Rick's Cabaret New York (50 West 33rd Street) was named "Best Gentlemen's Club in New York" by Men's Mag Daily. In addition to its steakhouse, the club features balcony seating on its second floor, deluxe Sky Boxes on its third floor, and a Cigar Lounge and Garden on its roof.
