Richard Sarfert Joins Penn Liberty Bank

WAYNE, Pa., March 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Richard Sarfert has joined Penn Liberty Bank of Wayne, Pennsylvania as Senior Vice President/Senior Credit Officer. In his new position Mr. Sarfert will be responsible for overseeing credit administration and the credit risk of the Bank.

Mr. Sarfert has 26 years of experience in the financial services industry focused on commercial lending and credit administration. Prior to joining Penn Liberty Bank he was employed by National Penn Bank as Senior Vice President of Commercial Banking Southern Region.

Richard is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a degree in finance and earned his MBA at St. Joseph University. He is involved with the Chester County Development Council/Southeastern Economic Development Company of Pennsylvania, Boy Scouts of America, and is an advisory board member of the Spring Valley Branch of the Freedom Valley YMCA.

Mr. Sarfert resides in Limerick with his wife and 2 children.
