An impressive panel of civil and political experts discuss the origins of welfare reform

WHAT: Nixon Legacy Forum, co-sponsored by the Richard Nixon Foundation, Richard Nixon Presidential Library, and George Washington University, School of Media and Public Affairs presenting distinguished senior officials from the Nixon Administration discussing President Nixon's initiatives in welfare reform.

The free admission event will be co-sponsored with The George Washington University School of Media and Public Affairs, the fifth Nixon Legacy Forum will be a discussion on Nixon's welfare reform policy, and its evolution, largely through the leadership of Daniel Patrick Moynihan into one of the centerpiece efforts of the President's first term in office.
The panel consists of persons both political and career civil service, who were deeply involved in the formation of Richard Nixon's Family Assistance Plan and the attempt to shepherd it through Congress.
Paul O'Neill
Former Treasury Secretary, O'Neill served as Deputy Director for Office of Management and Budget under President Nixon.
Jodi T. Allen
Senior Editor at the Pew Research Center, Allen served as a Program Analyst in the office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation in the Department of Health Education and Welfare.
Robert Patricelli
CEO of Women's Health USA, Patricelli served as Deputy Undersecretary of Health, Education, and Welfare.
John Price
CEO of Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh, Price served as Special Assistant for Urban Affairs in the Nixon White House under Daniel Patrick Moynihan.
Moderator: Lee Huebner
Professor of Communications at George Washington University School of Media and Public Affairs, Huebner worked as a special assistant to President Nixon and deputy director of the White House writing and research staff.
