Richard Chambers GmbH Wins Award for Cutting Company Emissions
LONDON, November 30, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --
Richard Chambers GmbH is the recipient of Business Worldwide Magazine's (BWM) Company of the Year Award 2016 in the category Best Emissions Reduction Technologies.
This company offers a range of technologies aimed at reducing both emissions and costs to companies in many sectors, including industrial machinery and transportation. They are keen to show large and medium-scale manufacturers that reducing harmful emissions also improves efficiency and gives a substantial profit boost.
Their products include the fault-detecting Ultrasonic SPY, three times more sensitive than the next such device, and the unique Powerboss motor controller and soft starter. Their also unique PTFE coating, SX-6000, added to functioning equipment, reduces friction in motors, gears and hydraulics far beyond any other product. The wear reduction is certified as up to 88%. The company insists that over time the ROI on investment in their products is at least 700%.
Receiving the BWM award, company CEO Richard Chambers said he was delighted at the recognition and thanked those who had voted in his company's favour.
He added: "There is no doubt that in order to clean up air pollution we need technical and scientific solutions, and ours also significantly reduce costs, and so increase profits. We even have had cases which funded considerable expansion.
It's definitely possible to save money and reduce emissions. So few managers seem to realise that up to 25% of the costs in a factory can be from wear, corrosion and operating inefficiencies, which all increase emissions."
Chambers' warning comes at a time when The World Health Organisation's (WHO) Urban Ambient Air Pollution Database estimated outdoor air pollution to have increased by 8% within the past five years.
When it comes to savings and increasing efficiency, Chambers believes many businesses waste far too much financial investment and time on software, thinking that this alone makes them efficient, instead of looking for technical solutions.
A spokesman for BWM said the judging panel was extremely impressed with the creativity of the company and their commitment to helping clients reduce environmental pollution.
He added: "This was a closely-fought category and we are delighted to finally announce Richard Chambers GmbH as our outright winner. Our congratulations to them are richly deserved."
