Richard A. Sarfert Promoted at Penn Liberty Bank

WAYNE, Pa., Jan. 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Richard A. Sarfert has been promoted to Chief Credit Officer and Executive Vice President at Penn Liberty Bank of Wayne, Pennsylvania. In his new position Mr. Sarfert will be responsible for the overall credit risk management of the Bank. Mr. Sarfert joined Penn Liberty Bank in January 2011 as the Senior Vice President and Senior Credit Officer.

Mr. Sarfert has 27 years of experience in the financial services industry focused on commercial lending and credit administration. Prior to joining Penn Liberty Bank he served as Senior Vice President of Commercial Banking Southern Region at National Penn Bank. Other positions held by Mr. Sarfert include Manager of Manufacturing Lending Group, Regional Credit Officer, and Commercial Team Leader for Chester County, Pennsylvania. 

Richard is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a degree in finance and earned his MBA at St. Joseph's University. He is involved with the Chester County Development Council/ Southeastern Economic Development Company of Pennsylvania, Boy Scouts of America, and is an advisory board member of the Spring Valley Branch of the Freedom Valley YMCA.

Mr. Sarfert resides in Limerick with his wife and 2 children.
