COLUMBUS, Ohio, Nov. 29, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Education First Credit Union is excited to announce the Grand Opening of its new corporate headquarters and downtown branch. The credit union has re-located to Downtown Columbus to better serve Ohio's education community. The credit union's largest branch, located at 399 E. Livingston Avenue in German Village, has also moved into the spacious, newly renovated building at 510 E. Mound Street.
The move has centrally positioned the credit union close to the many colleges, universities and Columbus City Schools and buildings nearby. The new building is also more than twice the size of the credit union's previous headquarters, allowing for substantial growth in the following years.
"Remaining close to the location where we had operated in for over fifty years was important to our Board of Directors," says credit union President and CEO Michael Wettrich. "This new facility has expanded parking and other modern conveniences to serve our growing education membership."
Education First held a ribbon cutting ceremony Monday, November 19, 2018 to officially recognize the opening of business at the new location.
Education First Credit Union has two additional branches to serve members, educators, suburban school districts and nearby colleges and universities in Westerville, Ohio at 501 W. Schrock Rd. and also in Reynoldsburg, Ohio at 5990 E. Main St. Visit our website at www.educu.org for more information.
