RF Technologies® Celebrates 25th Anniversary of Keeping Patients and Senior Care Residents Safe and Secure
BROOKFIELD, Wis., Aug. 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- RF Technologies® is celebrating its 25th year as a leading provider of customized radio frequency identification (RFID) healthcare safety and security solutions for the healthcare industry.
RF Technologies was founded by current owner and CEO Glenn Jonas on Aug. 4, 1987, in Milwaukee, Wis. The company entered the senior care market with the sale of wireless wandering management systems and transmitters to help reduce the risk of resident elopements.
After years of steady growth and expansion, RF Technologies delivers RFID safety and security solutions to the entire healthcare industry, including the widely recognized Code Alert® Senior Living Solutions, Safe Place® Patient Safety Solutions and Sensatec® Fall Management Solution. Based in Brookfield, Wis., more than 130 employees serve thousands of customers throughout the U.S.
"The significance of this milestone is evident in our continued growth and customer loyalty over the past 25 years," Jonas said. "As we head for the next 25, and as the healthcare market continues to grow, RF Technologies will be on the forefront of RFID product design and development to ensure we deliver innovative and reliable products and services that keep patients and senior care residents safe and secure."
Throughout its history, RF Technologies has specialized in in-house product design and development, including the invention of the industry's first RFID-based infant security solution in the early 1990s. It was also first to offer 24/7 technical phone support and other customer-focused offerings, such as a nationwide service team and remote monitoring.
"A large part of our success has come from listening to and acting on our customers' needs," Jonas said. "We are focused on the healthcare market and develop the products and services that they've asked for, and in turn, they're comfortable with their investment in our products and services."
