Reynolds Welcomes New CNCDA President
DAYTON, Ohio, May 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Reynolds and Reynolds today announced that Reynolds Document Services and the California New Car Dealers Association (CNCDA) have expanded their strategic alliance by adding the Reynolds LAW® 553 Universal Retail Sale Contract to the LAW® California F&I Library. The Reynolds LAW 553 is the most widely accepted document in auto finance and is regularly reviewed by industry experts to help keep pace with new legislative and regulatory developments.
"The LAW California F&I Library continues to be a big step forward in helping dealers improve their F&I operation, as well as the consumer experience at the dealership," said Jerry Kirwan, senior vice president and general manager of Reynolds Document Services. "With the addition of the LAW 553 to the library, dealers now have access to a proven tool to help them further manage risk, maintain compliance, and streamline their F&I process."
As part of the strategic alliance between Reynolds and the CNCDA, Reynolds Document Services is the exclusive provider of forms in the LAW California F&I Library, which offers California motor vehicle dealers a set of standardized, legally reviewed F&I forms designed to help streamline processes and manage compliance risk.
New Leadership at CNCDA
In discussing the strategic alliance between Reynolds and the CNCDA, Kirwan expressed his gratitude toward Peter Welch, the former president and CEO of the CNCDA who became the president of the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) on Feb. 1. "Under Peter's guidance, the CNCDA became a recognized leader in working with their members on business forms and forms management and in helping dealers prepare for the age of electronic transactions. We thank Peter for his outstanding leadership of the CNCDA and wish him well in his new role as NADA president."
Kirwan also welcomed Brian Mass as the new president of the CNCDA and said, "As the former chief legislative advocate of CNCDA, Brian has extensive experience with the regulatory and compliance issues facing California dealers. We look forward to working with him and his staff on helping ensure the LAW California F&I Library continues to meet the compliance needs of dealers now and in the future."
Brian Maas, president of the CNCDA, said, "The LAW California F&I Library of forms is an important tool in helping our member dealers improve their business operations. Together, the CNCDA and Reynolds will help ensure the library continually evolves to meet the needs of dealers in potentially reducing their liability, providing common defenses in litigation, and streamlining processes."
