WASHINGTON, April 25, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Rebuilding Together, the nation's leading nonprofit working to preserve affordable homeownership, launches its annual initiative, National Rebuilding Day, on April 30. The Rebuilding Together Affiliate Network, comprised of 200 affiliates across the country, will engage thousands of volunteers to participate in home renovation projects providing low-income homes with critical repairs, modifications and energy efficient upgrades at no-cost to the homeowners.

Nearly 4,000 homes or nonprofit community centers of Rebuilding Together's annual 10,000 project goal will be met. Service recipients include America's low-income elderly, disabled, families with children, and military veterans.
