Revelytix Welcomes Robert Meindl, Veteran Software Exec, As COO

SPARKS, Md., June 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Revelytix announces that veteran Software Industry Executive Robert (Bob) Meindl has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer.  Mr. Meindl's extensive enterprise software experience is a key asset as Revelytix introduces Loom enterprise software which makes Hadoop smarter by managing the complexity of Hadoop-based data.  Mr. Meindl is responsible for sales, business partner relationships and field operations.

Revelytix announced Early Access availability of Loom at the Strata conference on February 26, 2013 and General Availability of the software June 27, 2013.

Mr. Meindl worked with Reuters in the 1990's and then joined Metamatrix, a predecessor company to Revelytix, as VP Sales in 2000.  In 2005, he joined BEA Systems as VP Sales for the Aqualogic product.  In 2007, he joined Vitria, Inc. as Sr. VP Global Sales and managed and grew a worldwide team.
